Fine Tuned at the Albert Dock - 2017

Hemingway Design presented their new event, Fine Tuned at Albert Dock Liverpool on 8-9 July, this was a fringe event and part of the British Style Collective weekend. I covered the event for Good News Liverpool.

Presenting a ‘fine tuned’ collection of fiercely independent designer makers, there where street food vendors, vintage traders, performers and a classic car display. This free fringe event formed part of the immersive British Style Collective in association with Alcatel citywide take-over.

The Vintage Marketplace was located in the historic Dr Martin Luther King Jnr building hosting purveyors of fashion and accessories, bringing together culture labels with pret a porter and street style from the 1920s through to the 1900s. Also, the finest selection of fashion, records, music memorabilia and up-cycled ephemera.

Showcasing a truly eclectic mix of designers, artists, creatives and producers and products and wares from up and coming maker talent.

The street food vendors where cooking up a storm with Mexican tacos, Korean bao, and salt-beef bagels (to name a few) there was be plenty to treat your tastebuds with!

Packed with vehicles both large and small, there was something for everyone whether a marque aficionado or general enthusiast! Hartley Quay welcomed classic car owners for the 3rd consecutive year to show off their shining bumpers and gleaming hubcaps, a fine assembly of quality and craftsmanship.
