Pier Head Village 2018

Pier Head Village
Open July 14th until 9th September

The Pier Head Village returned to Liverpool’s waterfront on 14th July 2018 for the third year running. At Liverpool’s Pier Head the attraction has art, music, bars, street food and ‘thrill rides’, you can ride the Sky Swing or choose from one of the other rides and attractions or sample a wide range of foods. In 2017 Pier Head Village attracted more than 500,000 visitors and was popular with both tourists and locals alike. Mayor of Liverpool Joe Anderson says: “We know that the festival is helping to attract and retain visitor interest in the city, supporting the tourist economy and helping to showcase our iconic waterfront. It will be a fantastic addition to the Liverpool 2018 line-up of events.” Village creator Martin O’Shea adds: “We want the festival to continue to play a major role in attracting and retaining visitor interest in the city, supporting the local tourist economy as well as providing more than 100 new summer jobs for local people every year.” @PierHeadVillage
